Questionnaire and Meeting
Our process begins with an initial Design Questionnaire, addressing a wide range of inquiries that might help us better understand your needs, or that you may have about our services. This lays the groundwork for an initial meeting, fostering mutual familiarity and understanding between us. Based on the questionnaire responses, we'll develop a strategic approach for the Architectural Design phase.
Design Services
If you don't have Architectural plans yet, don't stress. We can provide full service Architectural plans in addition to, or independent to our Structural Engineering services for one-family, two-family and light commercial projects.
From Scratch Design
No need to worry if you haven't got your Architectural plans sorted yet. We offer comprehensive Architectural plans as a standalone service or in conjunction with our Structural Engineering solutions for single-family, two-family, and light commercial projects.
"Based" on Design
Have you ever seen a house and thought, "that's it, but with a few modifications"? We understand the appeal of drawing inspiration from tangible structures. Whether it's the materials, ambiance, or overall aesthetic, we can readily incorporate your vision into a design inspired by an existing building. Rest assured, our aim is to ensure that your project reflects precisely what you envision.
3D Modeling and Virtual Tours
The ability to interpret 2D plans into 3D structures isn't common among most individuals, including architects and engineers. Fortunately, with the aid of modern technology and advanced software, we can generate a 3D model and even provide a virtual tour experience through VR devices, aiding in visualizing the design before the actual construction phase. This process often facilitates early revisions, preventing costly alterations during the construction process.
Levels of Architectural Design
Take a look at our two Architectural design options (Basic and Advanced) tailored to match your project requirements and desired level of detail. Additionally, we offer supplementary design services (Elected Premier) that, while not essential, offer a comprehensive overview of the builder's prerequisites before the commencement of construction.
Basic Architectural Design
Our Basic architectural design service comprises the following elements:
- Cover sheet containing information mandated by the jurisdiction.
- Floor Plans depicting rooms, doors, fixtures, stairs, and more.
- Exterior Elevations presenting all sides of the building.
- General description of Finish Materials (wood, metal, tile, etc.).
- Section profiles highlighting key interior features like stairs (as required).
- General Power and Lighting plan.
This package also includes any selected Premier design services
Advanced Architectural Design
Our Advanced architectural design service encompasses all components of the Basic design service, with the following supplementary features:
- Detailed descriptions of finish materials for floors, walls, ceilings, and more.
- Exterior Elevations incorporating manufacturer product data for various finish elements, including siding, trim, fascia, overhangs, roofing materials, doors, and windows.
This package also includes any selected Premier design services
Elected Premier Design Services
Apart from the chosen design service, we offer the flexibility to select additional designs from the following options:
- Interior Elevation design
- Kitchen and Bathroom design
- Passive Haus, Zero-Energy, and Green Building design methods
- Electrical systems design
- Low voltage systems design
- Water systems design
- Hardscape, landscape, and off-site design
- 3D virtual tour and rendering of the structure with semi-realistic colors and features
- Virtual Reality (VR) tour with optic goggles, available upon request.
